A type of steel used in Middle Eastern swordmaking. These blades are characterized by distinctive patterns of banding and mottling reminiscent of flowing water. Such blades were reputed to be tough, resistant to shattering and capable of being honed to a sharp, resilient edge. (used in our D series knives)

If you see a knife style you like but would like to design your own handle contact me. I have over a hundred blades in stock and I can have it made to your specifications. Golf ball markers can be found for almost everything. I use the markers to personalize knives with a favorite sports team, schools and professions, such as firefighters, police and branches of the military service. The handle material comes in many colors to help coordinate the look.
